Key Responsibilities
Your Impact
Here's what you'll be responsible for in this role
Design batch and streaming pipelines with robust lineage and cataloging
Define governance controls, quality rules, and retention policies
Optimize warehouses, lakehouses, and vector stores for performance
Lead code reviews, platform upgrades, and reliability initiatives
Coach engineers on ETL/ELT best practices and real-time ingestion patterns
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years building data platforms on cloud-native stacks
- Expertise in Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, Delta/Iceberg, and SQL
- Knowledge of data mesh, security segmentation, and cost governance
- Experience integrating BI, ML, and API consumers on shared layers
- Strong leadership with distributed teams and vendor partners
